Understanding the wallet

The wallet keeps a running record of money in and out of the society - entry fees collected for an event, prize payouts, and any other transactions an organiser records.

Wallet visibility is controlled by the organiser - typically visible to committee members, so there’s one shared, accurate record instead of a treasurer’s personal notebook.
